A regular trip to the hairdresser is the self-care staple many of us can commit to. At minimum, we will enjoy this service once yearly for our regular trim-up.
Most of us, never think to look under the hood and discover that our mane-tame might in-fact be harming our health, or even worse, the health of our planet! Scary – huh!?
Meet Lisa, our ‘Noah’ if the ‘Arc’ was the natural haircare industry.
The Enough Studio Story:
Throughout her years working in a variety of salons, Enough Studio Founder, Lisa Nguyen, began to listen with intention to her clients, discovering the missing ingredients from the existing, chemical-laden, traditional salon.
Even some of Lisa’s self-titled ‘hippie’ clients would sacrifice their moral compass just for a silky-smooth blow-out.
It was the culmination of the love and care she had for her own clients, together with a passion for a sustainable and eco-conscious lifestyle, that Enough Studio was born.
Enough Studio’s doors opened in 2018. Simply because Lisa had had Enough. Enough of the harsh chemicals and toxic fumes. Enough of poorly produced products that not only harm her client’s hair, but our planet. & above all, Enough of the green-washed false-claims ‘eco’ salons were making.
4+ years on, Enough Studio has become a sanctuary for those who care deeply about the future of our planet. Clients of the studio can sense the deep connection with sustainability that is carefully woven throughout the space. From the furnishings to products used in salon – even the hand-crafted teas enjoyed throughout your treatment, Enough showcases how eco-friendly IS the new luxury.
A better future for all, inside and out:
This vision was amplified by the launch of the Level 1 wellness sanctuary, Enough Wellness, founded in 2021. The next inevitable extension of Lisa’s ‘Arc.’
A space specifically designed to house the best of holistic medicine and wellness. A space for Enough clients to immerse themselves in ancient healing practices and be gently supported towards restoration by our skilful practitioners. From Naturopathy, to Acupuncture, to Mindful Movement, Enough Wellness encapsulates Lisa’s mission of a better future for all, inside and out.
Meet George:
This mission continuously evolves, seeking out the absolute best the eco haircare industry has to offer.
On this undertaking, Lisa discovered that there were very few products that truly ‘ticked’ all her boxes.
At first glance, many of the ‘eco certified’ products out there seem to be a winner - with a carefully curated veil of marketing hoo-ha plastered on the packing to make those of us who care for our health, and our planet feel we are doing the ‘right’ thing.
On closer inspection these ‘eco’ products are: to put it plainly, full of crap.
With ingredient lists as long as your grandmother’s will, a heap of scientific jargon that makes zero sense, and a bunch of lengthy names that are extremely difficult to pronounce (we dare you to try and say them backwards!) – these products are plainly, bad news. Masquerading on the supermarket shelf as the ‘good guys.’
Well, in true Lisa fashion, this simply wasn’t good ‘Enough.’
“Can’t find what you’re looking for? Do it yourself,” she thought.
It gives us great pleasure to introduce you to Enough’s fun-loving little sibling: George.
George has been carefully formulated with your health and mother earth’s health in mind. From ingredient lists, to packaging, to even the boxes your orders are shipped in, George deeply cares for and honours our environment.
Lisa understands that many of Enough Studio’s clients are time poor and/ or overwhelmed by complex haircare routines. George makes things simple, by stripping things completely back to basics. Just clean, effective ingredients that are kind to you and our planet.
Better yet, George doesn’t demand you to self-diagnose your hair type (no Dr. google here!), whether your hair is Dry/ Oily/ Long/ Short/ Thick/ Damaged/ Curly/ Wavy/ Dead Straight/ Coloured - or anything in between for that matter. George is for everyone and anyone with hair.
George is the natural evolution of Lisa’s mission to revolutionise, and better yet, re-educate our world on the importance of caring for our health and our planet. There is no plan B. No Arc to save us. The decisions we make today WILL affect our tomorrow.

From Enough Studio to Enough Wellness and now George, there is one very important pillar of this mission that is perhaps Lisa’s greatest achievement: the Enough Community. Enough has become a space to gather, retreat, relax and re-inspire. A space for deep connection and learning. A space for quite frankly, pure joy. Enough always was and will continue to be, so much more than a hair salon. The Enough Community is like no other, and it is YOU that inspires Lisa, and her team to continue this important, essential work.
